The Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn is a 3 1/2 * accommodation country style motel situated on the shore of beautiful sandy Nepean Bay in Kingscote, Kangaroo Island’s largest town

We have 20 newly refitted rooms all with ocean views - 4 executive spa rooms and 16 Bayview.  All room have 32” inch LCD TV’s, new split reverse cycle air-conditioning and new Queen and King sized beds.

The Seaside Inn is 10 minutes’ walk from the town centre and 15 minutes’ drive from the airport.

The restaurant is open Wed-Sat for dinner and daily for breakfast.

The Kangaroo Island Seaside Inn is ideally situated for touring to all parts of the island and all tour companies pick up daily from the Motel.

About Kangaroo Island

Kangaroo Island remains one of Australia's last unspoit wilderness areas.  Seal Bay is unique in the world as a place where people can walk amongst wild seals suckling thier young and in perfect harmony. 

Our ecology has not been ravaged by introduced species to the same degree as the mainland and consequently the native flora and fauna, particularly the small marsupials, exist in almost thier origional state.

Wildlife is abundant and the 'tame' animals at Flinders Chase are a delight, particularly for the young.  Seal Bay, Kelly Hill Caves, Remarkable Rocks, Admirals Arch and the wildflowers when in season are just some of the many attractions to enjoy.

How to get to KI

Kangaroo Island Sealink operates two vehicle and passenger ferries between Cape Jervis and Penneshaw, Kangaroo Island, four times daily. Additional services operate during peak times. Travelling time is approximately 45 minutes and mainland coach connections are available at either end.

Regional Express operates daily flights between Adelaide and Kingscote Airport on Kangaroo Island. Flights are approximately 30 minutes duration. Book at www.regionalexpress.com.au Airport Shuttle Services operate between Kingscote Airport and Kingscote in Kangaroo Island. Bookings are necessary through Kangaroo Island Transfers on Ph: 0427 887 575 or through Smartcar Ph: 1300 887 121. Car Hire is also available at the airport or in Kingscote.
