Kangaroo Island is home to the only pure stain bee in the world and therefore we think it makes the best honey in the world. This special bee is called the Ligurian Bee and the owner of the Island Beehive, Peter Davis has been sourcing its fantastic honey for many years. A passion for bees and honey permeates the island beekeeping community with which Peter is intrinsically linked. Peter was born on Kangaroo Island and and grew up around bees kept as a sideline on the family farm where now he has made it his entire business.
